I wonder what God thinks of us. He has given us “humans”, so many blessings to enjoy and treasure our limited time here as guests. Yet we waste our time in arguments, hate, violence and war. Why can’t we see each other as brothers and sisters. Moreover as partners in this world. As important pieces of a working clock. Where each piece no matter how big or small is essential for the functionality of it as a whole. Recognizing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, help build each other up rather than tearing each other down. It is not hard to see that the only person we are hurting are ourselves when we don’t.
There is countless beauty in nature. Every where I look there is God’s perfection in everything. Gosh I’m sure there is so much more that my eyes are unable to see, my ears unable to hear, my hands unable to touch and my mouth unable to taste. I would like to spend my time here enjoying and being thankful for everything I have.
I truly want to believe that there is humanity left in this world. The world I’m raising my children in. I want to raise them loving and respecting everyone around regardless of faith and race. To work hard bettering themselves first then their community and hopefully soon to follow the world. We shouldn’t complain and expect others to change the world, we should first change ourselves and slowly work outwards. Collectively we can. In the process cherishing every moment in this amazing earth we all call home.

This past weekend I was lucky enough to visit one of the best spas I’ve been to so far. Voted # 8th in the US and 21st in the world – Lake Austin Spa Resort.
We rented out the bamboo suite. It came with your very own hot tub, outside massage room, outdoor shower and sink area.
Being outdoors and surrounded by nature in my very own personal space. Enjoyed every minute of this place. Cleared my mind, body and soul.

How do we react to someone saying sorry? Apologizing for something they have done.
Scenarios I can think of:
1. Accepting the apology, truly forgiving them and moving on.
2. Accepting the apology, not forgiving them and not letting go.
3. Not accepting the apology and cutting them off.
4. Not accepting the apology and distancing yourself from them.

For the past 10 years all I’ve known are diapers, bottles, nap time, potty training, mashed foods, diaper rash… You get the point. Now I’m lucky enough to say all my babies have grown up and are in school. I have mornings and afternoons to myself to do whatever I wish. I am finally catching up on my readings and most importantly my sleep! Talk about how fast I get through my grocery list. No yelling, no crying, no screaming, no potty break and no tantrums! I’m done in very little time.

Birthday. So much excitement and happiness comes with that one word. The Day we entered this world, making 2 people proud parents-with so much hope, ambition and love in their eyes. All the while us being totally unaware of who we are, where we are born, who we are born to…
Day by day, month by month and year by year, we go through life, living in this world and going through the changes and stages in our lives that builds us and shapes us to whom we are suppose to become.
I look forward to my birthdays and enjoy celebrating it not because of the presents and parties (my answer probably few years back) but because of whom I’m becoming. Every year I get a chance to improve myself by gaining more knowledge and experiences. Hopefully each year getting wiser and appreciative of life and things that really matters.
I hope this coming year I can become more grateful and love myself more. Don’t settle for just anything. Know what I want and go and get it. Keep in touch and make extra effort with my family. I would like to give more back to society especially sick kids and orphans. Showing God gratitude by giving back to the poor and hungry.
Most importantly take better care of myself by exercising and eating right.
I would like to look back and see myself growing spiritually and mentally even though my body will be getting weaker. I would like to see my kids grow into beautiful beings and hopefully live to see my grand kids. Also, being proud of how I handled life and situations thrown my way while being grateful and appreciative of every loss and gain.
Getting older for me means I have lived, loved and lost many things in my life. Only to come out stronger and wiser.
